Hello! I’m Tara Thom, quilter, wife, and mother of three. I live in a small town in Western New York, and I love Jesus. I like making lists, playing with fabric, and hanging out with my kids. I’m so thankful for the opportunity I have been given to work from home while taking care of my family. I love to travel, and visit quilt shops while I am away from home. I have fabric in my stash from Bar Harbor, Maine; Honolulu, Hawaii; New York City; Paris, France; and Seattle, Washington. If only I had more time to put all my souvenirs to good use!
I have been long-arm quilting professionally since 2001. I am able to execute a wide range of quilting techniques ranging from allover designs to heirloom quality custom motifs. One of the things that draws me toward the quilting community is the generosity of it’s members. It brings me great joy to play a part in constructing hand made gifts for people. For as long as I can remember, I have been crafting things for people with my hands, and I consider myself blessed to be able to help support my family while doing what I love.
I hope you enjoy my blog, where I’ll share some tips on quilting, thoughts on life, and how God’s working on me.
